Anthology + solidarity

£30

Marking ten years of cultural production in service of racial justice, Anthology brings together selections from the archive and brand new commissions to explore time: how we experience it, how it controls our lives, and how it can be reconfigured. The stories collected here, old and new, are all about retrospection, inheritance, archiving, rhythm, pacing and change.

This solidarity option includes a donation that directly funds future issues. Click here to choose the standard (£20) or concession (£12.50) price instead.

Through essays, features, poetry, illustration, photography, music, film, theatre, art and conversation, Anthology traces the creative and political lineages we are a part of. It’s about zooming out to understand the timescales on which movements for justice operate, an exercise that helps sustain hope over long periods of what can feel like failure. We want to unravel the false notion that the temporal regime we live under now – one rooted in the earliest establishment of racial capitalism – is the only option.
