Skin Deep’s immersive Sonic Transmissions sessions are back for an evening of conversation, live performance and collective listening with saxophonist, dancer and rapper tyroneisaacstuart.

Born, raised and residing in East London, tyroneisaacstuart is an interdisciplinary artist who originated from Jazz and Hip-Hop Theater, honing his skills as saxophonist with Tomorrow’s Warriors while also dancing with Boy Blue Entertainment. 

He has worked with top tier artists such as Far From The Norm, Boy Blue Entertainment, Hofesh Shechter Company, Nora Chipaumire, Soweto Kinch, Moses Boyd, Theon Cross, Cassie Kinoshi, Mark Kavuma & Kokoroko.

This Sonic Transmissions session will journey into tyroneisaacstuart’s debut album S!CK – an experience that draws on the spirit of the traditional New Orleans Gumbo, bringing a mix of the diasporic musical ingredients of jazz, contemporary dance, and visual art.

Past Sonic Transmissions have platformed artists such as Moses Boyd, Cassie Kinoshi, House of Absolute, Shabaka Hutchings, Lex Amor, Tawiah and Ashley Henry. Skin Deep is an arts and culture organisation that makes space for Black creatives and creatives of colour to work towards justice through cultural production.
