Play and imagination are critical to world-building, and go hand in hand with racial justice and liberation work. We have to be able to dream up new systems and ways of being while living in a world that actively diminishes our capacity to think beyond crisis and survival. This requires fantasising, improvising, tuning into our bodies and each other, and letting go of our everyday programmed responses.
In a conversation between PLAY’s Managing Editor, Creative Director and two of the issue’s contributors, this talk will draw on the core themes from Skin Deep’s most recent publication, and make some space for playtime…
